Prey-Like Tendencies, Predatory Power
Today is my 1st day as a working 4th year veterinary student. I start out on emergency. Clients, patients, examinations, triage, diagnostic and treatment plans, paperwork, the whole gamut. Today.  Stethoscope. Check!  Pager (omfg I have my own paging unit of death…). Check!  Watch. Check!  Name badge. Check!  Caffeine source. Check!  iPad, MacBook, other note-taking devices. Check! Check! Check! But my god, WHERE ARE MY BALLS AT?! Terrifed. OMFG… I can do this. I can do this!
